Designing for Impact: The Odyssey of a Product Designer
Talking about his journey as a designer, Atishay states, “During graduation, I used to mentor students in design and development which eventually evolved into a design studio. For four years, I steered the growth and success of the studio, nurturing it into a thriving venture. Eventually, an exciting opportunity to exit the business arose, and I decided to embrace it, moving on to new horizons. Subsequently, I joined Xebia, where I played a pivotal role in establishing design practices. I had the opportunity of working with the who’s who of the consulting industry on some challenging projects in India and the MiddleEast, giving me an invaluable experience and a unique perspective on diverse business landscapes.”

Today, Atishay leads design and customer-facing product teams at Shipa Freight and iContainers, as a part of the Kuwait-based Agility group. They empower users to navigate the complexities of international shipping and facilitate global trade through an industry leading digital experience.

Talking about his design process,Atishay says “In the realm of user experience, empathy is the compass that guides us to design greatness. With a solid understanding of technology, business and marketing enriched by user insights, crafting solutions with faster time-to-market truly makes an efficient design team.”
