One of the major faults of Indian school system is lack of a systematic progress measuring approach. The progress reports and parent teacher meetings have become a tool of the past and aren't real-time & effective. "What can be measured can be rapidly improved," said management guru Peter Drucker; if school authority and parents are able to see all the data and reports of exam scores, attendance and class participations of the students, it becomes easy for them to relate the data to performance.

To promote incremental learning, INZ came up with iLearn platform that enables students to take as many numbers of tests as possible at their convenience against quality content

But still not much has happened in India, which poses a major opportunity to improve education system. Back in 2008, Bengaluru-based education tech company INZ Axis presented a campus automation tool to track students' performance in IIMB bPlan event. Though it received a lot of buzz, many doubted the
implementation of such solution in education
industry at that time. Spotting this huge opportunity, the company put everything at stake and ran for three years with meagre sales and revenue. With time, INZ came up with two SaaS-based applications for Schools, Students & Teachers.

Innovative Solutions
OPTRA (Online Performance & TRAcking Solution) is the prime product of INZ which is a comprehensive end-to-end campus automation solution with planning, design and deploying of technology for schools/colleges to improve productivity and enhance accountability. The product is developed through various iterations and perfectly tailored to counter the challenges faced by schools and faculties in managing routine activities. "Today OPTRA customers can talk of latest and greatest in technology without even having a computer in their premise," asserts Sharan Madawal, Chairman & MD, INZ Axis.

OPTRA enables a dedicated channel between parents and institution providing real time progress information of their ward. The parents can easily access the admission, attendance, examination and participation details of their ward irrespective of their language, location or education. OPTRA reports are available in six different languages and can be accessed through e-mails, SMSs, website login, IVR and mobile app. The tool has simple and easy to use interfaces enabling single click reporting, quick adoption and accurate management capabilities.

To promote incremental learning and self-analysis, INZ came up with iLearn platform that enables students to take as many numbers of tests as possible at their convenience against quality
content. The platform is solely designed for aspiring students of CET and COMEDK for both medical and engineering in Karnataka and has great content developed by top teachers with several years of industry experience.INZ has partnered with Govt of Karnataka & Tamil Nadu and served more than 250 institutions across states including premier schools like KLE Group, Jain Group of Institutions, Al Ameen Group, BNM Group, Bishop Cotton and several others.

Sprinting Forward
INZ maintains an open floor politics free environment inside the company and constantly updates its employees with new technologies and interfaces. The company has recorded 30 percent growth year-on-year and is looking for partners to expand the presence in entire South India.
