Also, organizations face challenges in maintaining distributed facilities and face problems while availing video analytics solutions from providers for the same. There are advanced systems available in the market but incorporation of that into each facility requires hardware integration and incurs considerable cost for the consumer. This is where Visionbot came in to make a difference with an AI-enabled visual inspection platform that can run at Scale and is also available both on cloud and on premises. This eliminates a significant amount of costs for clients and at the same time provides real-time reports by means of a user-friendly interface.
The company has developed a no-code low-code platform where user accessibility is not dependent on the intricacies of the technology involved. It has emerged as one-of-a-kind visual inspection platform that is AI enabled and can run both on cloud and customer premises. As a platform, it has a very niche solution portfolio which is not generally provided by solution providers because systems can be provided through AI, but they need to be incorporated at locations to get analytics. Here, the Visionbot platform runs on the cloud which makes it easier to set up. “Visionbot platform is cloud first and is highly scalable. The user can upstream video feeds in the system and obtain reports in real time. We help customers go live within a week and if custom training is required, it does not take more than three weeks”, mentioned Amit Chakraborty, Co-Founder and CTO.
AI improving Operational Efficiency
The company is primarily trying to gain clients who have distributed facilities. Currently, some systems can gather the video data but that goes through an analysis only after an incident takes place. Visionbot helps facility managers keep track of visual analytics in real-time to prevent any incident from occurring and regularly monitor safety and compliance issues for the given facility. For instance, if we consider the CCTV video footage of a conveyor belt, generally everything is normal. But, let’s say, a box falls from the belt and a person needs to physically come to the spot and put it back. For that to happen, an alarm needs to be sounded for the required operator. What Visionbot does here is through the captured video of the box falling, it detects an anomaly in the process and automatically sounds an alarm which results in faster reaction time for the operator. The incorporation of this solution can also reduce manpower requirements for repetitive and mundane processes in an industrial setup.

There can be numerous of use cases for the Visionbot solution and what further adds value to the platform is its custom training process. As we can understand for every industry, visual inspection specifications are different, so the company has developed a custom training model where it runs deep learning algorithms in AI learning models to create transparency in operations and generate accurate real-time reports. “When it comes to the manufacturing industry,it involves manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics. We can provide a solution for organizations through which they will be able to monitor all operations and get real-time reports for the same. The same goes for the real-estate clients. Visual inspection for construction sites are generally installed for safety and compliance, and our systems can provide reports accurately”, stated Prakash Prabhu, Chief of Business, Visionbot.
Looking Ahead
Since its inception, Visionbot has gained considerable trust and recognition in the market because of its unique solution structure. Looking ahead, it wants to enhance self-service platform for the utilizing automated and adaptive training using low training data. This allows the customer to do model training in a self-service mode. “We also plan on making our platform faster and more scalable by deploying a Generative AI synthetic training model into our platform in the coming years”, concluded Amit.
