Deliberately choosing to set up a Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) approved Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO) in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, reflects Skyvan's strategic decision-making. Being the home state of the founders and offering ample opportunities for expansion, Odisha serves as an ideal location to launch Skyvan's operations and fulfill its vision.
Currently, Skyvan Aviation is providing Remote Pilot Certificate courses in the Small Drone Category, with plans underway to extend training programs to the Medium Drone Category. Currently, our focus lies on Remote Pilot training courses, with plans for expansion into dealership and service network establishment for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) covering all types of drones in the Eastern region. Additionally, we are in the process of forging partnerships with various educational institutions to ensure the availability of well-educated and qualified drone pilots, thereby enhancing the efficiency and output of drone operations.

The Remote Pilot Certificate course encompasses a comprehensive training approach that integrates theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical experience to foster skill development.
Eligibility criteria for the course require applicants to be a minimum of 18 years old, have completed 10th grade education, and possess any of the following documents: Aadhar card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, or Ration Card.
The course spans 7 days, with Day 1 & 2 comprising online ground classes, Day 3 involving theory tests, simulator training, basic assembly and maintenance, and flying training, Days 4 & 5 dedicated to flying training, Day 6 featuring a skill test, and Day 7 concluding with certificate issuance, with the course fees per candidate totaling INR 25,000 plus 18 percent GST.

Furthermore, we are actively pursuing agreements with other key stakeholders in the drone industry.
