Moreover, the faculty at IIAD are leading academicians as well as design practitioners, who bring industry insights and live projects to the classroom to ensure that students graduate not just with a degree but a strong resume, leading to excellent internships as well as placement opportunities.

"Several of our faculty members have completed, or are currently enrolled, in the Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching-Learning in Higher Education (PgCert) with universities in the UK. This qualification puts our faculties at par with international quality standards in higher education. IIAD is connected with 139+ organizations across the industry for student internships, collaborative projects and placements. The student placement cell at IIAD provides complete internship and placement support with a 90% placement record.

IIAD aims to bring professional design practice into the learning environment of a student from an early stage. Learn on-site internships, collaborative & Live projects, and various industry interactions form an integral part of the learning pedagogy. Practitioners from the industry not only conduct master-classes and hands-on workshops but also come on board to mentor students during academic as well as industrial projects. These interactions empower our students to expand their networks and connections in the design industry," adheres Dr. Jitin.

IIAD engages in systematic interactions with the industry throughout the year to allow students to establish contacts and networks with the industry

Establishing itself as the top-ranked design school offering globally benchmarked education not only in India but the entire SAARC region, IIAD is planning to launch short courses to reach a wider variety of people and provide them with design education by 2021. With the philosophy of `Anyone Anywhere', IIAD's vision is to help people in smaller cities receive a globally benchmarked design education at their place of residence. "Design Thinking for problem-solving in the workplace is what IIAD would also be focusing on soon, where we will be working with Corporates to help upskill their staff.

We plan to offer a more diverse range of design programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, to provide courses encompassing but not limited to product design, system design, animation and game design and several other programs that equip students with the skills required for the changing needs of the job market. IIAD is looking to expand and grow into a larger residential campus in the Delhi/NCR area with better infrastructure and facilities so as to continue to provide world-class education," concludes Dr. Jitin.
